Laura graduated from Franklin Road Christian School in 2015 and now attends Schoolcraft College and is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Laura started working at the Train Station Preschool in September of 2016. She started working with children seven years ago in the children’s ministry at her church.  Laura is so excited to be working at the Train Station.

Holly has been working at the Train Station Preschool since October of 2015. She graduated from Oakland Community College with an associates in Early Childhood Development.  She has been working with children for 15 years with babysitting, nannying, and in preschools.  She has been married for five years and has a three year old son.

Kim Sivyer is our safety officer in the building.  He served in the military as a military police officer for three years.  He was a Redford Police officer for 22 years and served as a sargaent for three years of that time.  He then became a credentialed minister and has been serving in that capacity for the past eight years.  He, also, was a court officer at the Redford Court House for a year...

Judi Sivyer attended Schoolcraft College and Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa where she received her Child Development Credentials. Judi became Montessori trained and started teaching preschool in 1985. Her children started attending Franklin Road Christian School in 1995 and she was hired one year later. Nancy Angel attended Schoolcraft College as well as Eastern Michigan University for her education in early childhood education. She has worked in child care for over 30 years. Nancy is married to Larry and they have three children: Joshua, Mallory, and Michelle. She has five grandchildren, Gavin, Blake and Clint, Joy, and Evelyn. Susie Bacani graduated from Adrian College with a BA in home economics education. After graduation, she worked for three years at Victorian Park preschool in Columbus, Ohio as a pre-k teacher. She has worked in all areas of the children’s ministry at Harvest Christian Church over the last seventeen years. She was the director of the children’s ministry at Harvest during that time. Sophany Boyagian is a graduate from Michigan State University. She has a B.S. in management but is also considering going back to school to pursue a teaching career. She has been working at the pre-school since April 2005 and has helped us in a variety of positions.  Sophany volunteers in the children’s ministries at her church and continues to further her training in child development.

Jackie King has been married to Jeff for 40 years and has 2 children, and two grandchildren Ally and Owen. The King family has attended Brightmoor Christian Church for 39 years. She has worked several years in retail and clothing manufacturing between babysitting and nanny jobs. Catie Heisordt is a graudate of Southwestern Assembiles of God Univesity, where she obtained a degree in World Missions.  Catie has helped in the Train Station Preschool since November 2007, while working for LifeTouch Preschool Portraits.  Catie is married and has two boys, Micah and Abel.

Hannah Kleimola started working for the Train Station Preschool during the Summer of 2015 in our Summer Fun for Kids program.  She now works with us in the afterschool program while attending classes at Oakland University, pursing a degree in Elementary Education with majors in the content areas of Science and Language Arts.  Hannah has been attending Brightmoor Christian Church for 22 years. ...

Jessica Dornfried is a graduate of Franklin Road Christian School.  She has worked in our summer programs, as well as in our classrooms through the years.  Jessica took time to do missions work in Nicaragua, where she worked with children.  Now that she has returned, Jessica is excited to continue pursing a degree in education, as well as being back at the Train Station Preschool.

Karen Wagner and her husband Paul moved to Novi, in August of 2013 from Cedar Rapids Iowa, due to a job change.  In Iowa Karen was employed for 8 years at Summit School as a teacher’s assistant, before that she worked for 8 years as an assistant in a private school in Ft Wayne, Indiana. Marcella Carter is the blessed wife of Tim, they have been maried for 28 years. They have two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jedidiah, Stephanie, and Benjamin. She began attending Brightmoor Christian Church 8 years ago, and became a member soon after. She loves singing in the choir and being involved in the dramatic productions of BCC. Morgan Brenner started working for the Train Station Preschool in 2013.  She currently attends Schoolcraft College and is pursuing a degree in Dental Hygiene.  Morgan has been a volunteer in summer camps, and has worked in her church Sunday School program for several years.

Sherry Scarchilli has worked in The Train Station since summer of 2007. She has been married to her husband Chris, for 16 years and has three children. She has attended Brightmoor Christian Church for 14 years, and during that time has played a very active roll in the children’s ministry. Stephanie has been working with children most of her life including nannying and children’s ministry. Stephanie and her husband moved with their two children from Florida to Michigan in Jan 2014 to work in brightmoor’s children’s ministry. Stephanie loves working with kids, knitting, baking, coffee, reading, the beach and being with her huge family and friends.
